Ben and Gabe were amazing! We caught plenty of Stripers, including several measuring 43 inches or more. The crew was energetic, friendly, and made the trip a lot of fun. My boys had an incredible time. Thanks again!

Awesome trip all around. Ben is both super personable and knowledgeable. Will put you on fish and answer any questions you can think of. Relaxed vibe, but at the same time absolutely hunting down any and all fish. His Grady is spacious and handles very well, you barely feel any waves / slop. His gear is quality and well maintained. If / when I’m in the area again would book again in a heartbeat.

We went out on a rainy and windy day, but our captain was fantastic. He was kind, patient, and made the trip enjoyable despite the weather. Our persistence paid off, and we caught some fish while having a fun day on the water.

The water was murky after the storms, and there were no baitfish around. Despite the poor conditions, Captain Ben worked hard to locate the fish, and I ended up catching around 30 Sea Bass and Porgies. None of the boats were finding Stripers that day, but we still had a successful trip. You cannot always land the biggest fish, but the good music, great conversation, and Ben’s effort made the day enjoyable. I will definitely fish with Captain Ben again next season.

Captain Ben was outstanding and truly made our trip memorable. We started at an initial spot but were not getting any bites, so he quickly made the call to move us. That decision paid off immediately once we reached the rip tide areas near Martha’s Vineyard. We started seeing stripers right away. Captain Ben selected the right lures and clearly explained the technique, which made a big difference, especially for those of us who were less experienced. My sister, who is a novice, landed the first fish of the day, and it ended up being the biggest of the trip. At one point she heard him say “whoa,” and he stepped right in to coach her on when and how to reel, ultimately helping her bring it in. That level of guidance really stood out. From there, my son hooked into one and the action stayed consistent. What impressed me most was how Captain Ben stayed on the fish, adjusting position as needed. While other boats nearby were not catching much, we were consistently bringing fish in. That is a direct reflection of his experience, awareness of conditions, and ability to adapt in real time. In total, we caught six fish, five stripers and one bluefish. Captain Ben even mentioned he was surprised I was able to land the bluefish, since they often bite through the line. He could tell right away from the head shakes that it was something different and was just as excited as we were. Overall, it was an exciting and well-run trip, and Captain Ben made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a guided fishing trip, whether you are experienced or brand new to the sport.

Great trip With Ben. He knew just where to go and get on the fish. We caught about 15 bass all in the 32-36 inch range on light tackle. Great fun! Fully recommend him as a captain.

Great trip! Captain Ben put us on several Stripers within minutes of starting. The weather turned windy and choppy, but he moved us to calmer waters, where we caught Scup and beautiful Black Sea Bass. We filled the cooler and had an excellent day. His beautiful boat also handled the rough conditions incredibly well.

I would highly recommend Capt Ben. We came from out of state and told Ben the type Of fish we would like to target. He was very knowledgeable and put us on the target species within minutes of leaving the harbor. All his gear was adequate, rigged up ready to go. We took his 25 foot center console which is a clean, comfortable, stable ride. Ben took many pictures and videos for us to remember the trip by. He tuned our technique throughout the day to increase or catching rate. He was willing to make a run and move around as the conditions dictated. I would highly recommend him for any kind of on the water trip you would like to do, especially fishing trips. We will be booking him our next trip here for sure.

Captain Ben is an amazing fishing guide. Able to make quick decisions on the fly through the day. He is ready to get out on the water to the fishing grounds to make for an awesome day. Very knowledge about the fishing areas and how to navigate the waters especially during busy fishing times. Shared some great stories along the way and learned a lot. Ben was such a fantastic guide and I couldn’t recommend him & his services more. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely cares about your experience on the water. I went with my sister and we caught loads of Scup, black sea bass and bluefish — will be coming back to get some striper soon!

My wife and I took our twin 10-year-old boys out for a morning with Ben, and it couldn’t have gone better. He was patient, friendly, and you can tell he truly enjoys what he does. Even though we’re beginners, it was clear Ben would be just as good with experienced anglers or anyone in between. We caught plenty of fish, and he even filleted them right on the boat for us to cook that evening. It was a wonderful experience for our family and one we’ll always remember.

Second year running with captain ben. Phenomenal experience, endless giant stripers to catch. Knew exactly where to go to find the fish. Great with adults and kids. Customized the trips to our specifications. Will fish with him every year. Highly recommended
