I would highly recommend Capt Ben. We came from out of state and told Ben the type Of fish we would like to target. He was very knowledgeable and put us on the target species within minutes of leaving the harbor. All his gear was adequate, rigged up ready to go. We took his 25 foot center console which is a clean, comfortable, stable ride. Ben took many pictures and videos for us to remember the trip by. He tuned our technique throughout the day to increase or catching rate. He was willing to make a run and move around as the conditions dictated. I would highly recommend him for any kind of on the water trip you would like to do, especially fishing trips. We will be booking him our next trip here for sure.

Captain Ben is an amazing fishing guide. Able to make quick decisions on the fly through the day. He is ready to get out on the water to the fishing grounds to make for an awesome day. Very knowledge about the fishing areas and how to navigate the waters especially during busy fishing times. Shared some great stories along the way and learned a lot. Ben was such a fantastic guide and I couldn’t recommend him & his services more. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely cares about your experience on the water. I went with my sister and we caught loads of Scup, black sea bass and bluefish — will be coming back to get some striper soon!

My wife and I took our twin 10-year-old boys out for a morning with Ben, and it couldn’t have gone better. He was patient, friendly, and you can tell he truly enjoys what he does. Even though we’re beginners, it was clear Ben would be just as good with experienced anglers or anyone in between. We caught plenty of fish, and he even filleted them right on the boat for us to cook that evening. It was a wonderful experience for our family and one we’ll always remember.

Second year running with captain ben. Phenomenal experience, endless giant stripers to catch. Knew exactly where to go to find the fish. Great with adults and kids. Customized the trips to our specifications. Will fish with him every year. Highly recommended

Captain Ben is a true professional with top-notch equipment and a fantastic boat. Before the trip, he communicated clearly and knew I wanted to focus on striper. His 25’ Grady-White was impressive, and the moment we left the dock he was already scouting opportunities to put me on fish. The action started right away, and when the bite slowed, he quickly moved us to keep things going. I landed six big striper and missed a few more, and anytime there was an issue with gear, he had a fresh setup ready to go. His knowledge of the water and commitment to keeping you on fish is unmatched. On top of that, Captain Ben is personable, easy to talk to, and makes the trip genuinely enjoyable. I had an incredible time and already trust him for my next outing — next time, targeting even more species.

My first cape cod charter and Captain Ben did not disappoint. Constantly put my girlfriend and I on quality fish the entire trip, If things slowed down he knew exactly where to go and what to use to get us back into the action, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. I went on two striper trips with Captain Sussman last summer and will 100% be going back this summer! Captain Sussman knows the Cape Cod waters well, was easy to communicate with, and most importantly got us on the fish every time. Candidly, I've been trying out a few different private charters in Cape Cod and Newburyport the last few summers and not one of those trips came close to how many stripers we caught and the hogs we were able to pull in.

I went out for Albies last year and we ended up catching over 15 fish! Captain Ben is a great guy and will always put you on the fish!
